All students must complete the required registration packet and provide documentation to verify residency before registration can be finalized.

All students (new and returning) are required to complete the St. Landry Parish Schools Registration Packet.

All families must provide two (2) current proofs of address during registration.

Acceptable documents are listed in the registration packet. Please review the packet carefully before arriving on campus to ensure you have the appropriate documentation.

Students who are new to Opelousas High School or transferring from another school must also provide:

• Completed withdrawal form(s) from the previous school

• Final report card/official school transcript

These documents are required in addition to the registration packet and proof of residency.

Students entering 7th or 8th grade who are zoned for the former Opelousas Junior High School are not considered transfer students and are not required to submit transfer documentation.

Before coming to registration, please make sure you have the following:

• Completed registration packet

• Two current proofs of address

• Withdrawal form (new/transfer students only)

• Final report card or transcript (new/transfer students only)
