School Improvement/Title I

The School Improvement Plan is a living document of the school's goals for the year. The goals may change as they are driven by the data collected throughout the school year based on factors such as student attendance, discipline and assessment achievement through benchmark, class level by department, state and national assessments.

The School Improvement Plan is also a record of where Title I funds are spent by the school to support student learning and achievement at the department levels, through assessments (ACT/WorkKeys/preACT, CLEP, AP and LEAP), recruitment and training of teachers, and Positive Behavior Intervention Systems.

The end goal of the School Improvement Plan is to develop a guide that will help the school improve their SPS/school report card score and provide resources that will allow the students to succeed in the required state assessments and offer opportunities for earning college credits or certifications for achievement beyond the high school classroom.
